Central Baptist believes in missions.
Every year many people from our church are participating in missions, either in Tennessee, the United States or around the world.
Our youth group is involved in missions every summer somewhere in the United States.
We also have many individuals or church groups who travel around the world throughout the year spreading God's love and forgiveness.

Missions - Some "Don't Forgets" please:

Mother's Day Offering - Those who love to give to this will find info on the Mission Table by the map in the atrium.
Peru Mission Team - On Mission for us May 21-31. Pray for the Holy Sprit power for them, grace for every need, and an abundant Harvest for Jesus.
Sanyati Makeover Team in Zimbabwe, Africa June 6-20. Pray for empowered witness and service, the mighty Presence of Jesus, and a Spirit of renewal for the whole Sanyati Mission.
Father's Day Offering - Those of you who love to give to our Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes. 120 Senior Adults receive 24/7 care in an assisted/nursing home center; 175 Senior Adults live in 3 retirements communities; and 55 adults who are disabled receive 24/7 care in 6 homes. WOW!

House of Peace

Central Baptist Church is excited to open our Missionary Residence "House of Peace". Located on the Northeast edge of our city, the house sits on 18 acres with a lovely ridge providing it elevation and a view. It has 4 bedrooms and three baths, on split levels and has recently been repaired and repainted, inside and out. It has wooden decks on one side and the rear of the house with nice security rails around them. Inside on the entry level it has a living room area with an adjacent sunroom (Florida room) with comfortable lounge furniture, a small bath, a dining/sitting area with a gas logs fireplace, and an attract an well equipped kitchen. In the middle of this level you go down about 6 steps to a unique, large Den that will be a nice family room. The master bedroom is on this level, with ah adjacent bath. Up a short stairway are a landing/study area, 3 bedrooms and a bath. Located close to Stone Memorial High School, Stone Elementary School, and Roane State University Teaching Center, and outlet mall, restaurants, service stations and grocery stores.

The House of Peace is ready for occupancy and will be rent-free. Our Southern Baptist missionary guests will only need their personal effects and will be responsible for the utilities. We guarantee the house comes with a growing, loving Baptist Church family of about 1200 members. This Body of believers has a strong, Biblical, teaching and worship ministry led by Pastor Roland Smith and a full compliment of associate and ministry pastors. Vibrant choirs, children, youth, SS, Single and Women's ministries are actively serving and praising Jesus.

We are a Global Priority Church which seeks to be obedient to the Great Commission and be a blessing to our Missionaries who are. Pray about living with us when next you need a Stateside Home.
