A. Jesus Christ

V. I Timothy 2:5 – There is only one God. And there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Jesus Christ, who is also a man.

A. Jesus Christ is truly God.

Q. What kind of death did Christ die?

A. Christ died a painful, shameful, bloody death on a cross for sinners.

V. Isaiah 53:5a – He was wounded for the wrong things we did. He was crushed for the evil things we did.

Q. Did Jesus rise from the dead?

A. Yes! Jesus rose again and is alive today!

V. Acts 1:3b – He (Jesus) appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

A. Jesus is at his Father’s right hand, preparing a plce for His people and praying for them.

Q. Why is it so important to believe that Christ rose from the dead?

A. Christ’s raising proved He is more powerful than sin or sin’s penalty.

V. 1 Corinthians 15:17 – If Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.

Q. How should these truths about Jesus Christ affect you?

A. I should believe and be glad that the only perfect Savior laid down His life so that I could be right with God.

V. Hebrews 13:15a – Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God.
