for All Kids Ages Pre-K4 through 5th grade - Every Wednesday

 Join us for Kids 4 Truth  every Wednesday. 
Supper is at 5:00 p.m. and the program starts at 5:40 p.m. in the gym.

Game Plan (Theme 1: The Bible)


August 27

            Q: How do we know the Bible is the Word of God?

            A: The Spirit of God tells us that the Bible is true and that it is God’s Word.

            V: 1 Corinthians 2:12 – Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but       the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things of God freely

            given us by God.


September 3

            Q: How did God give us the Bible?

            A: God gave His holy men His holy words to write down.

            V: 2 Peter 1:21 – For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of    God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.


September 10

            Q: Does the Bible tell any lies?

            A: No.  God’s Word is true because God tells only the truth.

            V: Psalm 119:160a – The entirety of Your Word is truth.



September 17

            Q: What does the Bible teach?

            A: The Bible teaches us who God is and what we must believe about Him.

            V: Ecclesiastes 12:13b – Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is   the whole duty of man.



September 24

            Q: Can we really know God without the Bible?

            A: No. We cannot know God without faith, and we cannot grow in faith without    God’s Word.

            V: Romans 10:17 – So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the         word of Christ.



October 1

            Q: What authority does God’s Word have over me and others?

            A: The Bible is the final rule for what we should believe and how we should live.

            V: 2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is breathed out by God, and profitable for     teaching, for correction, and for training in righteousness.


October 8

            Q: Why do we need the Bible?

            A: The Bible leads us to believe in Christ.

V: 2 Timothy 3:15 – And how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Q: How does God want us to respond to the Bible?

            A: He wants us to love it, enjoy it, believe it, and obey it!

            V: Psalm 119:97 – Oh how I love your law!  It is my meditation all the day.



Game Plan (Theme 2: The Greatness of God)


November 2

            Q: What is a Bible passage that shows us that God is greater than we are?

V: Isaiah 55:8-9a – “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.  “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways.”


November 9

            Q: Did God have a beginning?

            A: No.  God is eternal (forever) and has always been alive.

V: Revelation 1:8 – “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”


November 16

            Q: Does God ever get tired, change His mind, or weaken in any way?

            A: No.  The Lord God is unchanging.

            V: Malachi 3:6a – “For I the Lord do not change.”

            Q: Does God have a body like you do?

            A: No.  God is an invisible Spirit and cannot be seen.

V: John 4:24 – God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

            Q: How powerful is God?

            A: God is all powerful!

V: Jeremiah 32:17 – Ah Lord God!  It is You who has make the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched armNothing is too hard for you [God].

January 4

            Q: What does God know?

            A: God knows all things, even the secrets of our hearts.

V: Psalm 147:5 – Great is our Lord and abundant in power, His understanding is beyond measure!


January 11

            Q: Where is God?

            A: God is always present everywhere, all the time.

V: Jeremiah 23:24 – “Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him?” declares the Lord.  “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.


January 18 (Last day to give Bonus Run sheets to Mrs. Jennifer)

            Q: Is there anything or anyone even close to God in His perfect greatness?

            A: No.  God is much greater than everyone and everything.

V: 1 Timothy 1:17 – To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever! Amen.


January 25 – Team Night – Family Night – Free Meal at 5:45

Q: How should you respond to truths about how great God is?

            A: These truths should make me humbly depend on God.

V: Exodus 15:11 – Who is like you, O Lord … majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?

February 1

Q: Who gives us all good things?

A: God gives us all good things.

V: Psalm 84:11b – The LORD bestows favor and honor, No good thing does He (God) withhold from those who walk uprightly.


February 8

Q: Does God ever do things in a wrong or sinful way?

A: No. God is completely righteous.

V: Psalm 145:17 – The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His works


February 15

Q: Does God give everyone good things they do not deserve?

A: Yes, because God is a gracious God.

V: Psalm 145:8 – The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.


February 22

Q: Would God rather punish or forgive?                                     

A: God loves to forgive and to show mercy by withholding judgment.

V: Lamentations 3:22a – The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases.


February 29

Q: Who is the source of all love?

A: The Lord God is the source of all love.

V: 1 John 4:8 – Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.


March 7

Q: Does God pretend not to see sin?

A: No. God hates all sin because He is all good. (4 yrs – K learn this)

V: Romans 1:18a – For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.


March 14 (Last night to hand in Bonus Runs)

Q: Since God is perfectly good, what can you do to please Him?

A: I need to trust God alone for all my needs, and to love Him more than anything or anyone else.

V: Deuteronomy 6:5a – You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart.


March 21 (Team Night – Family Night – Free Meal at 5:45)

Q: How perfectly good is God?

A: God is holy which means He is the only One Who is absolutely pure in His goodness

V: Isaiah 6:3 – And one [angel] called to another and said “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”


Game Plan (Theme 4 – The Trinity)


March 28

Q: Why do we believe that God is a Trinity (one God in three Persons)?

A: We believe God is a Trinity because the Bible tells us:

-       There is one God.

-       This God is three Persons.

-       Each of the three Persons are God.


April 4

Q: Does the Bible teach that there is only one God?

A: Yes. The Bible is clear that there is only one true God.

V: Deuteronomy 6:4 – “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”


April 11

Q: Who are the three Persons of the Trinity?

A: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

V: Matthew 28:19 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Q: Has God always been a Trinity?

A: Yes. God is unchanging and has always been one God in three Persons. (4-K)

V: Isaiah 48:16b – “(The Messiah says) from the beginning I have not spoken in secret, from the time it came to be I have been there.  And now the Lord GOD has sent me, and His Spirit.”


April 25 (Last Day to Turn in Bonus Runs)

Q: Does the Bible clearly teach that the Father is God?

A: Yes.  The Bible teaches that the Father is God.

V: Philippians 1:2a – “Grace to you and peace from God our Father”


May 2

Q: Does the Bible clearly teach that the Son (Jesus) is God?

A: Yes.  The Father Himself calls Jesus, “God.”

V:  Hebrews 1:8a – ‘But of the Son he (God) says, “Your Throne, O God, is forever and ever.”


May 9

Q:  Does the Bible clearly teach that the Holy Spirit is God?

A: Yes.  The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is God.

V: 2 Corinthians 3:17 – “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
